All EMT Medical Services registered staff hold professional tertiary qualifications and are skilled and experienced in performing Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) qualifications enabling life-saving techniques to be performed.
Additionally, all Registered Nurses and Registered Paramedics are permitted to administer emergency medication as per our approved Queensland Government Clinical Practice Guidelines.
EMT Medical Services staff regularly attend a range of high-risk motorsport or recreational events, including Club, State, National and International competitions as well as a variety of music festivals. EMT provides Registered Nurses, Registered Paramedics, and qualified Event Medics with registered healthcare professionals able to obtain advice and support via telemedicine from the Medical Director, Dr Charles Elliott (Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery MB, BS; Fellow of the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine, F.A.C.E.M.)
